The USF - MPM Family Medicine Residency Program at the Turley Family Health Center is the first residency program in the state of Florida to receive Physician Practice Connections® - Patient-Centered Medical HomeTM (PPC®-PCMHTM) Recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA PPC®-PCMHTM program reflects the input of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Osteopathic Association and others in extension of the Physician Practice Connections Program®. It was developed to assess whether physician practices are functioning as medical homes and recognize them for these efforts. The NCQA PPC-PCMH standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement. The USF - MPM Family Medicine Residency Program at the Turley Family Health Center received Level 3 Recognition, which is the highest level possible.
