Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Greengold joined a medical practice in Naugatuck, CT, and became board certified in Family Medicine. He served on the Board of the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
In 1982, he moved to Clearwater, FL, and opened his own office. He served as Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Morton Plant Hospital and afterward as President of the medical staff. He was one of the founding physicians of Morton Plant Mease Primary Care and served as Chairman of the Advisory Board for three years. In 2000, he joined the faculty of the USF-MPM Family Medicine Residency. He was also named Part-Time Physician Educator of the Year by the Florida Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Greengold is married with three children and three grandchildren. He enjoys sailing, reading, writing and the "Florida life."
