After completing her residency, Dr. Hancock joined the faculty of USF-MPM Family Medicine Residency. She, an OB/GYN physician, was attracted to family medicine education because of the opportunity it provides to educate residents about comprehensive women's care and preventive health. She also enjoys international medical missions and has worked in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador.
Her practice is dedicated to life long medical care of all women, young and elderly, with an focus on adolescents. As the Medical Director of the Women's Center at the Turley Family Health Center, Dr. Hancock is pleased to work with a team including midwives and physicians, dedicated to women's preventive health, excellent OB/GYN care and resident education. She finds it rewarding to be a part of a residency program that is comprehensive in its approach to resident education with an emphasis on evidence-based medicine, community service and professional development.
