Congratulations! You've just brought home the most precious gift in the world -- your baby. Like most new parents, you may be anxious about how to care for the newest member of the family. This is a time of discovery for both parents and baby. You will quickly learn how to be a nurturing parent, and the child will begin learning about the world from the security of being in your arms or hearing your soothing voice. Your baby's first checkup should usually happen two to four weeks after birth, depending on your baby's health and your practitioner's recommendations and style of practice.
