Morton Plant Mease Health Care Hosts Lecture by Dr. Nick Hall

CLEARWATER, Fla. (February 05, 2002)---Learn how to "Stay Sane and Healthy in a Changing World" when Dr. Nick Hall, wellness speaker and consultant, appears on Monday, February 11, 2002 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Morton Plant Mease Health Care's Countryside Health Education Center at Countryside Mall.
"Dr. Nick Hall is a leading pioneer in researching the link between the mind and health," said Carla Breedlove, manager of the Countryside Health Education Center. "As part of Morton Plant Mease's Women's Health Week, Dr. Hall will present information to the community on ways to reduce stress thereby promoting wellness."
Dr. Hall is the author of more than 150 articles and his work has also been featured on "60 Minutes", "NOVA" and Bill Moyers' program, "Healing and the Mind". He is the recipient of two prestigious Research Scientist Development Awards, given by the National Institutes of Health to the top scientists in the United States.
Located at 27001 U.S. Highway 19 North, Suite 2073 (2nd level, Countryside Mall) in Clearwater, Morton Plant Mease's Countryside Health Education Center creates a unique learning experience to assist community members in managing their health. Open since the early 1990s and remodeled in March 2001, the 4,300-square foot center provides both educational and health screening services.
