Trinity Outpatient Center Hosts Free Health Fair|
CLEARWATER, Fla., (October 18, 2004) - Morton Plant Hospital's Trinity Outpatient Center and the YMCA of the Suncoast will host their 7th Annual Free-For-Fall Festival on Saturday, October 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Held at 2102 Trinity Oaks Boulevard, the event provides an opportunity for adults and children to take advantage of free health screenings and participate in exciting activities and safety demonstrations.
Blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, skin cancer, foot, hearing, stress and skin cancer screenings will be offered at minimal or no cost and the Pasco County Health Department will provide tetanus and pneumonia vaccinations. Participants can also sign up for complimentary "Ask-A-Doc" consultations, massages and paraffin hand treatments.
Other activities include free food, healthy snacks and candy for kids, face painting, a moonwalk, pumpkin decorating, a costume parade at the YMCA, prize drawings, a visit from the Morton Plant Mease clowns and performances by the Mitchell High School Drum Line and St. George's Greek Dancers. The Bayflite helicopter will also be there along with a fire truck from Pasco County Fire & Rescue.
Participating organizations include the James P. Gills Family YMCA, Morton Plant Self Health, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, Susan Cheek Needler Breast Center, AARP, American Red Cross, Pasco County Health Department, Pasco County Fire & Rescue, CARES, the West Pasco Pregnancy Center and many more.
