Trinity Outpatient and Surgery Center Receives Lightspeed CT Scanner|
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla., (May 9, 2002)---Trinity Outpatient and Surgery Center recently acquired a General Electric Lightspeed Computed Tomography (CT) scanner for its imaging department. The new scanner provides better quality images in mere seconds.
"In the past, completed CT scans could take up to 20 minutes. With our new CT scanner, a clear image occurs in a matter of seconds," said John Couris, vice president of medical imaging and health services for Morton Plant Mease Health Care. "Better images mean better diagnoses and ultimately greater patient satisfaction."
The Lightspeed CT scanner provides the following benefits:
