Morton Plant Hospital's Bardmoor Outpatient and Surgery Center Hosts 3rd Annual Fall Festival

CLEARWATER, Fla (September 25, 2003) -Morton Plant Hospital's Bardmoor Outpatient and Surgery Center and the YMCA of the Suncoast-Bardmoor Branch will host the 3rd Annual Fall Festival with free adult and child health screenings on Saturday, October 11, 2003, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to the public and will take place at the Bardmoor Outpatient and Surgery Center located at 8787 Bryan Dairy Road in Largo, Fla.
Free health screenings will be offered, including vision and hearing screenings; youth fitness assessments; body composition; blood pressure and total cholesterol testing and complimentary massages.
Children can participate in such activities as rock climbing, trick-or-treating, face painting, pumpkin decorating, finger casting, moonwalks and visiting with the Morton Plant Mease clowns. Free Kid Care photo I.D.s will also be made for parents.
Health and safety booth demonstrations will include the American Cancer Society, DARE, American Red Cross, Area Agency on Aging, Human Society of Pinellas, Tae Kwon Do, Great Bay Distributors, Joslin Diabetes Center at Morton Plant, and more.
