Morton Plant Mease Hosts Month of the Woman Health Events
04/19/2013

Girls Night Out and Women’s Health Seminars

CLEARWATER, Fla., (April 19, 2013) – Morton Plant Mease recognizes National Women’s Health Week in May with Month of the Woman, a month celebration of health events for women to focus on their own health. Women of the community are invited to the Morton Plant Mease Girls Night Out event and two community health seminars spotlighting women’s health issues.

“These women’s health events are good opportunities for women to learn more about the many stages a woman goes through, what to expect at various points and also have the chance to ask expert physicians questions in a casual environment,” said Marcia Albanese, Morton Plant Mease director of women’s services. “Many women tend to put everyone else’s needs first so this is a chance to put a spotlight on their own healthcare needs for a change.”
