Experience the New Morton Plant North Bay Hospital
Community Invited to Open House Festivities
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla., (February 9, 2010) – To accommodate the rapidly growing needs of the community, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is undergoing a $49 million expansion. With construction nearly complete, the community is invited to preview the new facilities and updates before it officially opens.
Morton Plant North Bay will hold a community open house in which the public can view the expansion and participate in family-friendly activities on Saturday, February 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Families can enjoy a mobile game theater, face painting, inflatables, balloon art, magic, music, food and beverages. The New Port Richey Police Department will also be offering finger printing as well as McGruff the Crime Dog with safety tips for kids.
Tours will be available of the new Starkey Medical Tower, slated to open March 1, 2010, which includes a new intensive care unit, cardiac unit, medical surgical unit, new respiratory care services and community education facilities. The community can also tour the recently opened Medical Arts Building featuring physician offices, new sleep disorders unit, laboratory services and outpatient rehabilitation services.
