Morton Plant Hospital's Turley Family Health Center Appoints New Administrative Director
CLEARWATER, Fla. (June 11, 2002)---Morton Plant Hospital's Turley Family Health Center recently appointed Patti Holston as its new administrative director, responsible for the operations and financial management of the center. She also assists in strategic management activities.
Before joining Morton Plant Hospital, Holston was the manager of the University of Tennessee Department of Family Medicine where she was actively involved in operational planning and clinical management. Holston received her bachelor of science degree in Healthcare Management and her masters in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Alabama. In addition, she is a certified member of the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
Built in 1999, Turley Family Health Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides comprehensive health care with an emphasis on prevention primarily for the North Greenwood community. Accepting Medicaid patients and extending discounted care to low-income individuals who fail to qualify for Medicaid has allowed Turley Family Health Center to provide health care to infants, children and adults who might otherwise not receive health care. Some of the services that the center offers include: cardiovascular assessments, physicals, basic laboratory screening and phlebotomy services.
