Morton Plant Hospital Names New Administrator of Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center

CLEARWATER, Fla. (August 25, 2005)- Gail L. Ward, NHA brings 15 years of long-term care experience to her new position as administrator of the Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center.

Gail graduated from the University of South Florida in 1984 with a B.S. in business management. She began her career with Mediplex Rehab in Bradenton where she started as the director of human resources in 1987 and worked her way up to COO and administrator.

Gail came to Morton Plant from Tandem Health Care, a network of health care facilities, where she started working in 1998 as the executive director of a 120-bed sub-acute, rehabilitation and long-term care facility in Winter Haven. In 2003, she became the regional vice-president of operations for Tandem Regional Management until December of 2004 when she became the executive director of Tandem Health Care of Williamsburg, a 90-bed skilled nursing facility.
