The Pelican Club: Exclusively For Expectant Parents

Membership in the Pelican Club entitles you to gifts and special discounts from our sponsors on everything from maternity wear, baby furnishings and equipment to educational toys, home meal service, child play classes, and more. And the best part is it's all free.

The benefits begin with a fun, informative "Get-Acquainted" morning where you can:

• Preregister for your baby's birth
• Visit with pediatricians
• Tour the Birth Center
• Meet other expectant parents 
• Ask questions of our staff 
• Enjoy refreshments and door prizes

As a member of the Pelican Club, you'll receive a packet containing information about all the special classes and programs offered at Morton Plant's Maternity Center.

Baby's First Picture

While you are in the hospital, you will have the opportunity to purchase your baby's first official portrait - a keepsake you'll treasure forever. Shortly after your baby is born, a representative will visit you to explain this service and take your baby's picture. Once your baby's photo is taken, you may make arrangements for it to be placed on the Web in our E-Nursery, if you’d like.

Morton Plant Hospital offers an in-house photography studio in its mother-baby unit. Family photos can be taken and printed on-site.

Gift Shop

In the lobby of our hospital, you will find a gift shop that is staffed by Morton Plant Mease volunteers. The shop offers a quality selection of baby gifts, as well as a variety of candy, games, books, cards, balloons, stuffed animals and more.
