Mease Countryside Breast Health Services

At Mease Countryside Hospital, our breast health services span the continuum of care, from screenings to surgery to support. Our Outpatient Imaging Center offers the latest in imaging technologies including mammography with Computer-Aided Detection (CAD), breast MRI, ultrasound biopsies and stereotactic biopsies. Should you receive a breast cancer diagnosis, our board-certified surgeons can provide you with a range of surgical options depending on the size, location and type of breast cancer you have. These options include sentinel lymph node biopsy, partial mastectomy, skin-sparing mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Additional treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy and hormone therapy are also available.

In addition to our extensive clinical services, Mease Countryside Hospital also offers patients and families a wide range of support services through our Cancer Patient Support Services (CaPSS) program. Free support groups for women, young women and caregivers are available, as is free individual and family counseling by specialized oncology counselors. Mease Countryside Hospital is also home to The Evelyn R. Simmers Oncology Resource Library.
