After having a complete hysterectomy for uterine cancer, I spent just one night at the hospital. The next day I was at home playing cards late into the evening! My incisions were very small, and I had very little pain after the surgery. I was able to easily get around the house and was only restricted from driving for two weeks. My family members are amazed at how rapid my recovery has been - as are friends who had traditional hysterectomies and spent weeks in pain with limited mobility.
