The Morton Plant Mease Diabetes Education Center is the community's leader in diabetes education and treatment. With a team of expert diabetes professionals, we are helping people with diabetes shape healthier lives and slow or prevent major complications like blindness, kidney failure and heart disease.
These health advancements result from combining solid experience, national research and a strong focus on education/screenings. After years of treating and educating people with diabetes we've built quite a list of accomplishments, including:
- Offer more diabetes education classes than any other facility in Florida
- Offer research studies that include all stages of diabetes as well as diabetes prevention, treatment and complications
- An education program recognized by the American Diabetes Association
- Provider Recognition for Endocrinologists
